Printable Blythe Doll eye chips template. 
A template for creating custom Blythe doll eye chips (Suitable for Neo Blythe, not suitable for midi or petite)

The template has been designed so it can be uploaded into programmes like Photoshop or Canva so you can design your own eyes or you can print the template and draw your own straight onto the template. 

PLEASE NOTE - This is a digital download, no physical item will be shipped to you. 

How to use: You can find a full tutorial for using the printable to make custom eyes on my tiktok and Instagram @mymisfittoybox .
-Print or upload the template into your programme of choice and create your eye designs. 
-When printing the template, ensure the measurement on the bottom left of the template is to size. I recommend printing in A4. 
-To create the dome of the eye, I add a small amount of PVA glue to the design and add my eye chip over the top, before cutting the shape out.  I tap off the excess of the glue to ensure there is no streaks covering your eyes. I use glass eye chips from Aliexpress. 
-Alternatively, you can create a dome shape with UV resin, just ensure the resin doesn't go out of the eye shape on the template. 
-Once dry, cut a square around the shape and slowly sand the edges of the paper in an upwards motion. This will make sure the paper is to the exact size of the eyechip without risking it peeling off. 
-Glue the finished eyes into the eye mechanism! 

Tips for use:
-When printing the template, ensure the bottom measurement prints as 1.4cm. For printers larger than A4, you may need to adjust the sizing in your printer's settings. 
-Print the template onto a high quality cardstock to ensure the eyes can withhold the glue.
